Aquila’s Big 5 Combo Safari Tour offers guests from Cape Town the perfect opportunity to experience a traditional, 2 to 3 hour South African vehicle game drive, while maximising your wildlife adventure with an additional 1 to 2 hour horseback or quad bike safari outride – all in one day! 

Enjoy a great diversity of wildlife and immerse yourself in the untamed beauty of Aquila’s 10 000 hectare Karoo game reserve. With two safari tours in a single day (morning game drive + afternoon safari outride), guests have double the chance to see Africa’s iconic big five animals, capture stunning wildlife photos, and experience the true wonders of the Karoo’s natural fauna and flora.

Please Note:

Minimum age requirement: 16 years

Maximum weight limit: 95kg (horseback) and 150kg (quad bike)

Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed

Transfers are available as an optional add-on

 

Daytrip Transport:

Transport must be booked before 3pm for next-day arrivals. Please note that pick-up times provided for day-trip transport options are estimates only. Your final pick-up time will be confirmed the day prior to your safari experience.


Pick-Up and Drop-Off:

Pick up locations and times will be confirmed by a safari consultant the evening before your scheduled departure date. Please ensure your contact details (provided at the time of your booking) are accurate and valid for South Africa.

Pick up zones include: Atlantic Seaboard, Cape Town CBD, Constantia or Bellville. For private, luxury or air transfers, please contact our safari consultants after making your booking.

 

Please Note: Transport to the reserve and back can be booked as an additional add-on. All foreign guests travelling with Aquila’s transport service are required to carry their passports.
